I finally got a picture of the Mockingbird! I love their song (medleys) when they arrive in early spring. We started to hear their song in late March. After Spring I don't hear their song. I do see them in the summer, but they don't sing their medleys. I suppose their song must have something to do with mating.
Their song is the first thing I hear in the morning. It just makes me laugh because they seem to be saying..."oh yeah! you think thats good...listen to this!" They change their song every 2-3 seconds...and I won't hear the same song after listening to them for 1 minute! It's just amazing! Here are some links on Mockingbirds, also a better picture that I got off the internet of the Mockingbird.

I hope you're not talking about these, 'cause this is a Mockingbird... Did you have another you thought might be a thrasher?
